I was in Manila on our way to Bohol when I caught this snippet of a family working together to make a living by collecting scrap/recyclables along a road to sell. A family life that is markedly different from that of most of our families, especially for the children. The little girl, conducting herself in a business-like manner staying clear of the hustle, was impressive. The boy helping out with the work and then at the end just casually climbing atop their collection for the ride was equally remarkable. It was all a wonder to watch, and worth many a reflection!
